Kinds of
Plants
Ferns- plants belonging to the botanical group
known as Pteridophyta. They have stems, leaves and roots like other
vascular plants.
Trees- a woody perennial plant, typically having a single stem or trunk growing to a considerable height and bearing lateral branches at some distance from the ground.
Mosses- are a botanical division
(phylum) of small, soft plants that are
typically 1–10 cm (0.4–4 in) tall, though some
species.
Pine Trees- an evergreen coniferous tree that has clusters of long needle-
shaped leaves. Many kinds are grown for their soft
timber, which is widely used for furniture and pulp, or for
tar and turpentine.
Liverworts- a small flowerless green plant with
leaflike stems or lobed leaves, occurring in moist habitats. Liverworts lack
true roots and reproduce by means of spores released
from capsules.
Grasses- vegetation consisting of typically short
plants with long narrow leaves, growing wild or cultivated on lawns and
pasture, and as a fodder crop.
