Reaching out to all ALumni - By Cindy Groover
We are ALUMNI for LIFE! That’s right, even if you move, change jobs, or retire, you will al-
ways be a member of LEADERship Alumni. Sadly, there are over 200 Alumni completely out
of the LEADERlines & event announcement loop. To solve this dilemma, I am reaching out
to everyone reading LEADERlines to help us bring them back into the communication fold.
Included in this article is a link to a Google Doc listing 218 Alumni we would like to bring
back online. This is especially timely because we are also launching a new website that will
ultimately allow Alumni to update their profile when they have changes in their contact infor-
mation. This will go a long way toward preventing this from continuing to happen. We want
all ALUMNI to hear about what is happening in our LEADERship Community.
If you have any contact information for people on the list, please send your information to
info@leadershipmcalumni.com

Making A Difference
Beth Gaskin, Class 24, IRSC vice president for student success, announced that IRSC
will use an anonymous $40 million donation for a second charter high school. The school
will be built on county land near Indiantown and would focus on career and technical edu-
cation, such as welding and dual-enrollment opportunities. Traditional courses and even-
ing classes for adults also would be offered. Clark Advanced Learning Center, a public
charter high school, on the Chastain Campus in Stuart opened in 2004-05.
