IT Service Desk Tutorials: Office365 How to Configure Outlook App for Android (Set up Email)

Purpose: To Setup, Install and configure the Outlook App for Android with UL Lafayette Email (Including Contacts & Calendars). Steps: 1. Find the Play Store on your

Android Phone and open it.

2. Type in “Outlook” in the Search Bar

3. Once Downloaded go ahead

and open the App

4. Add your email account here. Be sure to use your ULID@louisiana.edu. The next page will ask for you password.

5. Hit SKIP unless you want to

add a second email account.

6. Hit SKIP

7. You should now be on the

main email screen. Your emails will be listed here and your email is setup.

8. Focused Inbox: The Focused Inbox is a feature which separates your email into categories. If you want to remove this feature then look at the next step.

9. Hit the Three lines at the

top left, then look for the gear icon.

10. Turn of Focused Inbox here

and your email is configured on Outlook for Android.
