Growth of IT sector in India

IT and business process outsourcing (BPO) exports grew by 5.5 % in 2010

The IT market will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21% between 2011 and 2015, with unit sales resuming strong growth.

Each year India produces roughly 5,00,000 engineers in the country, out of them only 25% to 30% possessed both technical competency and English language skills.
