OUR GOALS

Increase Website Visitation / Usage

Development

Consideration Points of Website Design

1. We wanted to make sure the site could be maintained with any development.(Dreamweaver, Frontpage, etc)

* Developed and Tested in both.

2. We used Javascript to create professional elements like the sliding navigation bar and the accordion menus.

* Javascript is easy to maintain and can create very sophisticated elements.

3. We unified the look and feel of all pages with a single template.*Allows the client to completely change the look and

feel of the site with by changing one page.

The Finished Product

Does It Work?Validating Our

CodeWe used two different validation services to check our site for errors.

W3C Markup Validation ServiceValidator.w3.org

WDG HTML ValidatorHtmlhelp.com/tools/validator

Both returned 19 errors after validating the siteSome doc-type errorsSome end tags for elements that were not open (e.g. </p> with no <p> open)A repeated id tag that was already definedNo character encoding

Once we reviewed the information, we were able to correct these errors, and ensure that our was running as it should be.
