ISSDA is working towards to the DataSeal of Approval (DSA), a certificationfor sustainable and trusted datarepositories.
Your data are
Disseminatedvia a nationalplatform
04
ISSDA is a national platform & holdsa range of key Irish and internationalcomparative datasets.

Data providers can choose underwhich l icenses their data aredistributed; research & teaching.
Your data are

ISSDA uses tools includingKleopatra, PKWARE SecureZip & Keka(for Mac users) to ensure that dataare encrypted at ingest and delivery.
We use HEAnet Fi leSender to deliverdata to researchers. Fi leSender isdeveloped to the requirements of thehigher education and researchcommunity and supportedby HEAnet, Ireland’s NationalEducation and Research Network.

Usage reports
07
ISSDA can generate usage reports, which typical ly include the numberof requests, number of users, type ofusers, subject area and description ofprojects.
We are currently developing a newdatabase which wil l al low easierreporting to depositors.
