Evolución histórica de IPMA

• IPMA es una Asociación Internacional sin Animo de Lucro, formada porAsociaciones Nacionales, organizadas como networking y gobernadas concriterios de federación internacional.

• Sujeta a las leyes de la Confederación Helvética, tiene su sede legal en• Sujeta a las leyes de la Confederación Helvética, tiene su sede legal enZurich.

• Los objetivos fundamentales de IPMA son la promoción de la profesión de laDirección de Proyectos, la mejora de los estándares aplicables para la mejora

continua de la profesión, la investigación y el desarrollo continuado y lacertificación de competencias profesionales en dirección y gestión de proyectos,programas y carteras.

• Fundada en 1965 en el seno de la antigua INTERNET hasta 1994, dondeadopta el actual nombre de IPMA).

• Representa mundialmente (Agosto 2010) a 53 asociaciones nacionales (entreellas AEIPRO), con más de 450.000 asociados y cerca de 130.000 profesionalescertificados.

• Organiza anualmente un Congreso Mundial.

• Prolija difusión formativa, técnica y científica en sus campos de actuación.

• Tiene su sede social en Zurich (Suiza) y la operativa en Nijkerk (Paises Bajos)con una Task Force en la Comisión Europea (Bruselas-Bélgica). Sedesregionales en China, India y Estados Unidos de Norteamérica.

• Su objetivo es preservar, fomentar y potenciar la calidad de la dirección deproyectos y la excelencia de sus profesionales a nivel mundial.

• Sirve de nexo de intercambio y de reconocimiento mundial de acreditacionesde los profesionales de la dirección de proyectos a través del modelo decertificación 4-L-C sobre la ICB y NCB’s de las asociaciones miembros

• Fundada en 1992 en el seno de las ETSII de las Universidades Españolas.

• Representa a cerca de medio millar de asociados, entre miembros privadosy corporativos.

• Organiza anualmente el Congreso Nacional de Ingeniería de Proyectos ybianualmente el International Congress of Project Engineering.

• Tiene su sede oficial en la ETSII-UPV.

• Es la MA (Member Association) de IPMA – International ProjectManagement Association .

• Propietaria de la V3.0 NCB homónima ICB.

� CB’s and QS : final cert assessors training for starting his autonomous activities on January 2011 + one new round of certification in Mexico and Peru (May and November 2010);

� To help the Chilean MA, and his IPMA application during 2010 (3rd quarter);

Young Crew Workshop

IPMA and IPMA Young Crew has been organizing a special workshop just for young professionals and students. The main goal of The IPMA Young Crew Workshops is to provide experience exchange and offer opportunities for interaction and information exchange. The workshop is an important Pre-World Congress Event. It is a workshop addressing the special interests of young professionals, students, post graduates young professionals, students, post graduates and faculty trainers from different countries. The Workshop focuses on discussing, meeting, learning, networking and having fun.

Over all:• Participants between 80-120 people• People over 15 different country• Interactive and practical programme

• Feedback session– 3 interviews regarding application forms and award process with

GPM YPMA Award and Price winners

– If you want to get high quality applications you have to define an ambitious application form

– Aims to contribute to the discipline of Project Management in developing countries. Case: Nepal

– Plan to develop an event end of September: 5 days of training and 5 days of coaching

– Developed a Project Charter, Sponsorship Package and Logo

– Alternative ways of financing are being considered – MA’s can support it financially!!
