• Welcome to some of the current big players in Assistive Technology, iPads, Boardmaker and Smartboards. Learn how to use and integrate these tools to create engaging and interactive lessons for your students. We will look at iPads for hands-on access and collaboration, explore apps and learning opportunities on the web, connect iPad as a mouse with the computer and Smartboard, also seeking out some great online resources that work great with interactive whiteboards. We will add to your resource options through the use of great internet aggregators to find lessons that pop. We will try some Boardmaker Plus activities on the Smartboard and learn how to create a great searchable picture base with this software. Plan on a fast paced, fun day with great tools.
