IntroductionIntersoft Electronics offers many field-proven Radar Upgrade solutions and the AN/TPQ-36 is no exception.
Whilst some companies offer solutions to obsolescence, Intersoft Electronics offers true system enhancements in addition to addressing obsolescence issues.
As such, our AN/TPQ-36 upgrade solution provides the following benefits:1. Service Life Extension and maintenance tools2. Elimination of the existing Shelter Truck (reduction of spare parts)3. Enhanced Performance of the radar (better accuracy)4. Improved Safety for operations5. Improved Control, Monitoring and Display User features6. Real-life Operational Test and Evaluation
Enhancementsq The OCG Shelter is replaced entirely with:
● a new Radar Upgrade Processor (RUP) located inside Trailer ● a ruggedised Man Machine Interface (MMI) or remote large
screen workstation
q Improved Auto Terrain Following capabilities
q Improved ballistics calculations with incorporation of meteorological data
q Extractor/CAM solution on LAN
q Additional tools for antenna maintenance incorporated
Enhancements
q Weapon network integrations
q Possibility to ‘learn’ new weapons based on RAW recordings
q Frequency Sharing to enable multi-radar mode
q Real-life Operational, Test and Evaluation (OT&E) capability through use of Radar Target Generator (RTG698) and Tower Track
