How do you feel about Walt Masters?

Answer to Question One:

Well how I feel about Walt Masters is that he's a dog stealing boy.

Question Two

How did you feel when Walt stole your dogs?

Answer to Question Two

I felt angry. Because he stole our transportation, the way we get around.

Question Three

Do you think you'll ever see Walt Masters again?

I honestly think that I won't be seeing Walt Masters any time soon.

Did you ever feel bad for stealing people's land?

I didn't feel bad because it wasn't illegal.

What went through your mind when Walt cracked your fingers with the whip?

As soon as it happened I knew when we caught Walt he was going to die. The second thing that went through my mind was the pain that struck through my body.

I went on the short trip because my wife died.

No nobody knew the Irishmen.

How did you feel when the Irishmen was attacking your son?

Walts dad

I was kind of worried if he had gotten hurt.

What kind of supplies did you bring?

WALT’S LEAD DOG

This is Nick from the Alaska Dispatch.

Question 1.What was it like being the lead dog?

It was scary because it was my first time being a lead dog. So I did not know what to do.

Question 2.What did you think when Walt said, “Mush high!

Mush on!” ? I thought he was speaking a different language.

Also, I wish my owner taught me those words.

Question 3.Were you tired after all of that running?

Yes, I was, because we were getting chased and getting shot by the prospectors. So I could not stop running.

Question 4.Did you think you were going to safely get away

from all of the prospectors?

No, I knew that I was going to get shot at, and I thought I would stop running.

Question 5.When you got shot at, what did the other dogs do?

How did you feel?

We all fell in a dog pile together. So Walt helped the dogs get in place. We left and I got left behind. My wound hurt very bad.
