integrated primary school in tarnów

The school was bui ld in 20th  May 1964

Soon the school was named afterMaria Dąbrowska,

a famous Pol ish writer and advocate of chi ldren’s r ights

In September 1999 the f i rst integration c lass was created ,

and s ince September 2003 the school has been an integration school .

The institution accepts and looks after al l chi ldren regardless of their physical or mental condit ion.

„School without barr iers” i s a motto of the school .

Since 2002 the school has had an active „Young Europeans’ Club” Students meet after school lessons in order to learn about European

countries and expand their knowledge about the European Union.

During the meetings we learn about dance and cuisine of European

countries.

Our biggest achievement is organisation of a competition in which Tarnów schools present their kowledge of the European Union. The competition

takes place every year on Europe Day.
