1 INTRODUCTION

These instructions are for a Single User Licence or a Site Licence installation of IBM SPSS

Amos 25. If you are installing for a Concurrent User, please contact your IT department for a

separate guide.

To enable you to fully licence IBM SPSS Amos 25, you will need:

- Administrator Rights on the computer you wish to licence.

- Internet access.

- Your IBM SPSS Amos 25 Authorisation Code.

- A computer running Windows, as IBM SPSS Amos is not compatible with the Mac Operating

Systems.

2 INSTALLING IBM SPSS AMOS 25

1. Go to the ‘Downloads’, right click on the software and choose ‘Run as administrator.’

2. When you click ‘Run’, you will see the screen below. You are not required to click anything

at this point.

3. Click on ‘Next.’

4. Accept the below License Agreement and click on ‘Next.’

5. Accept the default location by clicking ‘Next’ or click on ‘Change…’ to change location.

6. Click ‘Install.’

7. Click on ‘Finish’ to complete installation.

(It is your choice whether to tick the box ‘Start IBM SPSS Amos 25 now’)

3 LICENSING IBM SPSS AMOS 25

1. To licence IBM SPSS Amos 25 you will need to open the Licence Authorisation Wizard. You

can do this by going to Start – All Programs - IBM SPSS Statistics – IBM SPSS Amos 25 – Right

click on Amos 25 Licence Authorisation Wizard and choose to Run as Administrator.

2. You will now be presented with this screen. If you have access to a purchased download of

IBM SPSS Amos 25, please click ‘Next’.

3. If you have a desktop Version of IBM SPSS Amos 25 and have access to both admin rights

and your Authorisation Code, please choose ‘Authorised User Licence’ and ‘Next’.

4. Please copy and paste your Authorisation Code into the space provided and click ‘Next’.

5. If the licencing has been successful, you will see the screen below.

6. As the image below states, your IBM SPSS Amos 25 will now be fully licenced when you

open it next.
