Drapers spoke to 50 independents about their men’s mainstream fashion business for the week ending January 2. Brands and styles mentioned in the lists, including the Top 10 and Top 5, are ranked when mentioned by five or more retailers

MAINSTREAMAn uplift in trade was recorded by 50% of mainstream menswear indies over the Christmas trading period, with shirts the most popular option for gift buying. The freezing weather across the UK meant that outerwear and knitwear got the tills ringing at the retailers polled
