During this marking period, you should continue to do the following each day:

• Summarize a current event

• Work through BBC Ma France

• Read some of La Joconde

Once a week, you should:

jaconde-ch9-flash-cards/Write down the words and listen to the pronunciation before you start reading the chapter.

• Tues: Practice the vocabulary by visiting: http://quizlet.com/19091684/learn.

• Thurs: Play the vocab games on the quizlet website.

• Read a little of Chapter 9 each day. Finish reading it on Thursday.

Review of Avoir

• Write the present tense of avoir = to have in your notes.

• J’ai = I have, Tu as = You (informal) have

• Il/Elle/On a =He/She/One has

• Nous avons = We have

• Vous avez = You (formal) have

• Ils / Elles ont = They (m/f) have
