ORÍGENES DEL GRUPO Imagine Dragons es una banda de indie rock

estadounidense originaria de Las Vegas, Nevada en

2008.

La banda está formada por Dan Reynolds (voz), D.

Wayne Sermon (guitarra), Daniel "Z" Platzman

(batería) y Ben McKee (bajo).

Brittany Tolman y Andrew Tolman pertenecieron al

proyecto en sus inicios pero dejaron el grupo.

Empezaron versionando a Led Zeppelin en casinos de

Las Vegas. Ahora copan las listas de ventas de medio

mundo, y todo, gracias a Night visions.

Imagine Dragons está considerado como uno de los

grupos revelación de 2013 gracias a canciones como

It’s time, On top of the world.

ORÍGENES DEL GRUPO

DISCOGRAFÍA Imagine Dragons solo tiene un disco grabado en estudio,

aunque también tienen el mismo disco grabado en

versión live:

-Night Visions (2012) tuvo un gran impacto comercial en

Estados Unidos y Canadá. Se destaca su single

“Radioactive”.

DISCOGRAFÍA IILos demás trabajos que ha realizado Imagine Dragons

-Continued Silence (2012) es el primer EP de Imagine Dragons editado con el sello Interscope Records. Fue un éxito en Estados Unidos y Canadá.

OTRAS ACTIVIDADES

-Imagine Dragons han tocado en directo en diversos

programas como The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (2012)

-La canción “Radioactive” es un tema muy reclamado por

el cine, la televisión e, incluso, los videojuegos, sale en el

anuncio de Fórmula 1, en la serie los 100.

-La canción “On the top of the World” salió en el verano de

2013 en un anuncio y fue anunciada numerosas veces

en la radio.

OTRAS ACTIVIDADES II

-El grupo colaboró con la famosa violinista Lindsey Stirling

and Pentatonix para grabar una versión diferente de

“Radioactive”.

-En los Grammy “Radioactive” fue nominado como mejor

grabación del año y mejor actuación de rock. Finalmente se llevó el segundo galardón.

OTRAS ACTIVIDADES III- La industria de los videojuegos también han contado

con Imagine Dragons, podemos escuchar

Radioactive en las bandas sonoras de MLB13: The

show y en NBA2K14. Además, la canción también

se utilizó para la campaña de promoción de uno de

los videojuegos más esperados de 2012, Assassin’s

Creed III.

INFLUENCIAS EN OTROS

- La serie de televisión Glee hizo una versión de "It's

Time".

- Radioactive ha sonado en varios anuncios para anunciar

series de televisión como la de Chicago fire pero también

ha servido como banda sonora. Se esucha en el capítulo

22 de la primera temporada de Arrow, en el episodio 14

de la quinta temporada de The Vampires diaries o, ya

que hablamos de vampiros, en el capítulo final de la

sexta temporada de True blood.
