Serve ‘outreach mission’ of IEEE

Provide opportunity for pre-college students to learn fundamentals of science and engineering and modern applications of engineering in an interactive, interesting and informal way.

Enhance awareness and public perception of IEEE

Year One (2010)

– Creation of five modern technology exhibits with a challenge grant of $25,000 from IEEE New Initiatives Committee

– Formation of IEEE Forum SEE in Hyderabad

Year Two (2011)

– Expansion and installation of at least eight new exhibits. This effort will include the creation of information graphic panels and student field guides for each exhibit.

– Memorandum of Cooperation: IEEE and Birla Science Centre

Year Three (2012)

– Creation of promotional materials

– Creation of a web presence consisting of online exhibits, interactive games, and teacher resources

– Complete Roadmap Documentation
