South Africa has a massive skills shortage in the ICT sector. The sector together with academia is required to help the country build capacity needed to develop a digital economy. The BANKSETA is responding by establishing a programme that allows ICT graduates to undergo an intense four-month skills and theoretical work readiness course which is followed by six-months experiential training at a host company for a period of six months, completely funded by BANKSETA.
The BANKSETA invites companies to participate in its ICT work readiness programme.
