2Mission StatementTo remove child marriage’s

tradition from India by Letting them know the

causes of it and telling the people of India how the child

feels.

largest country • India’s the fastest

growing country • Not everyone in India

has healthcare• India has the most

child marriages

Problem 7• Child marriage is tragic in India

• Children forced to marry older adults• It happens mostly to girls

• The child has a lot of responsibilities• Its not good for the child

Why it happens?5• The parents get a lot of

dowry• They say it’s a tradition• Elders also think it brings

discipline to the child• Parents think its better for

the future

Laws 6• In India child marriage is

illegal• Whoever participates in

one is a criminal• The government should

make more strict laws.

What happens after child marriage?

7• There is no more Childhood

• The child has a lot of boundaries• Chores, chores and more chores• They live the rest of their lives

like 24hr servants.

Rights being violated8• After marriage almost all rights

are taken away• Right to education

• Right to have health care• Right to work

• Right to have security of person• Right to freedom of opinion and

expression• Right to Recognition

How Health is a concern?9• Too many chores• Not a healthy diet• Homesickness

• Not enough social activity• Too much mental stress

India• Not just a major but tragic• It isn’t gonna go away itself• We need all the help we can

get

The Solution 111. Get a huge army of helpers and

volunteers2. Tell the parents what actually

happens3. Ask schools to teach kids about

marriage4. Start a help line number
