How to look for a book in UCT Libraries

Go to: www.lib.uct.ac.za

Hover your mouse on Search & findHover your mouse on Search & Find

Click on Catalogue (ALEPH)

Click on Catalogue (ALEPH)

ALEPH is the nameof our catalogue

ALEPH opens up

ALEPH contains records of all the books, journals, reports, theses, videos, DVDs and other materials in UCT Libraries

Click on Multi-field

Click on Multi-field

This screen will appear

Type in your search details

Type in any of the details you have e.g. author and/or title

Click on Go

Click on Go

Results will appear

Library field tells you which library or section to go to

Shelf mark field tells you where to look on the shelves

Click on All items to check for availability

Items with due date have been borrowed
