How did you use new media technologies in the

construction and research, planning and evaluation

stages?

• The first stage of my production was the research and planning task where i research everything I needed to know about music videos including the history and conventional aspects etc. Then I made a blog which to upload it all on to.

Story Board Planning

• Next- I hand drawn a story board of my music video in a chronological order of the film then took a picture of it to put it on my website with a digital camera, then uploaded the picture on to my blog

Audience Research • Audience research- Apart of

our audience research was to make a questionnaire and hand it out to our target audience, in order to help us formulate a video which would be to the taste of our target audience. Once we had collect the data we used Microsoft excel to turn this data into graphs once this had been done I screen shot each and every graph and cropped it on adobe Photoshop Cs2 and then saving the image as a Jpeg so it would be able to be uploaded onto the website.   

Filming

• Filming- during this stage we used a Sony video camera to get the best quality footage possible to get a high standard looking video to achieve that authentic feel.

Filming

• Filming- another piece of equipment which we used was a tri- caster this enabled us to film shots and all different types of angles to appeal to the audience so there a variety of angles to not bore the audience and so we could get conventional angles to appeal to the mainstream audiences.

Editing• Editing- Once we had filmed

and had all the footage we used adobe premiere to start editing our video we spent a lot of time editing our footage and also had to back and recapture some footage, as we some shots didn’t work out according to plan or where out of frame so we had to go out and film again the certain scene. Through editing I developed my editing skills and how place video into chronological order and to lip sink accurately

Audience Feedback

• As a group we decided to collect our feedback through a technological based product so it would be easier to evaluate and assess. We got our feedback through an audio recorder, so a particular group member would interview a certain individual and ask them questions about are video to get there opioion on are video.
