Hints for Conquering Depression.

A Bit About Me• I suffered from bouts of depression

from childhood.• I know what it feels like to live with

depression.• I have been in such a dark place that I

have considered suicide. BUT…..• I have conquered depression and

without the use of drugs!• I now have a life I love to live!

Hint 1.

Understand that depression is not who you are!

It is just a state of mind.

Hint 2.

It takes courage and persistence to conquer depression;

But, it can be done!

Hint 3.

•Ask for help.•Asking for help shows

strength not weakness.•Find the Right person to

help you. •If you are not progressing,

change your therapist.

Hint 4

Learn as many self help techniques as you can.

Then you can empower yourself and conquer your depression.

Hint 5.

Having learned self help techniques,

USE THEM! (Even when you feel like you can’t be

bothered, just do it!)

Hint 6.

Believe.

• Believe that you can be happy.• Believe that your life can & will get better.• Believe that you are lovable & worthwhile.• Believe that you have people in your life

who love and value you.• Believe that there is always a light at the

end of your tunnel.
