Large-areacollectorscanbeinstalledon-roofwithallcurrentroofclad-dings. Thespecificcostsarelowerforlarge-area collectors, as a greater area can beassembledinlesstime.
Eveninstorms,theweatherresistantcollector cladding provides little areaasatargetandwithstandsallweatherconditions.Theuseofwoodfor the collector frame produces the same material properties as the roof truss. As such, the collector harmo-nisesexcellentlywiththeroof.Therisk from thermal stresses is reduced to a minimum.
