Thisworkprovidesadiscussionofconsiderationsforresidentialprogramstreatingtraffickingsurvivors,emphasizingcomprehensiveservicesandefficientorganizationaldesigntosupportthecreationofadditionalagenciestoservethispopulation.Buildingonafoundationinthestrengths-basedapproach,resiliencetheoryandpost-traumaticgrowththeory,thisworkconsidersthe

policyandadvocacyclimateofanti-traffickingwork,explorestheconnectionbetweentraffickingandtraumaandgeneralsymptompresentation,andprovidesrecommendationsfororganizationaldevelopmentrootedintrauma-informedcare.ItdrawsontheexperienceofexistingorganizationsanddiscussesspecifictreatmentinterventionsfordirectpracticewithtraffickingsurvivorsbasedonHerman’sphasedtraumatreatment.Thisworkseekstoconnecteachoftheserelatedtopicstotheprovisionofservicetotheindividualtherebyempoweringserviceproviderswhodesireto

workwiththisvulnerablepopulationwiththeknowledgeandexpertiseonhowtodoso.
