health, and the treatment of serious

reproductive problems such as infertility

or reproductive cancers.

Must finish a 4 year residency program in

Gynecology.

Must take licensing exams to gain the

right to practice Gynecology.

private practice.

specialists in privately-owned group

practice.

They also work in research facilities and

pharmaceutical companies.

problems that evolve the female

reproductive system.

For example: urinary tract infections (UTI)

Basically any issues a women has with this

part of their body.

pregnant, at that point you are referred to

an obstetrician.

Obstetrician take care of pre-natal care or

any issues that arise, testing and delivery.

Gynecologist helps you with fertility

problems.

They also help you have a birth control

plan. They also handle tubal ligations and

hysterectomies.

A gynecologist handles testing for any

disease of the reproductive system,

including cancer, sexually transmitted

diseases and menstruation issues.
