THE INTRODUCTION OF VEGETABLESVegetables are very important to the health because the supply of vitamins and nutrientsmajor in nutrition. In addition vegetables also helps in the digestive processfood ingredients and acts as roughage in the body. Planting cropsvegetables, especially fresh vegetables provide many benefits like a healthy body.Planting vegetables planted itself not only produce fresh cropeven clean of harmful chemicals and save money. If commercializedit can also be commercially profitable and returns tobusinessman-entrepreneur.

Plant vegetables are divided into 5 main groups1. leafy vegetables (lettuce, spinach, kale, kale, etc.),2. bulb vegetables (garlic, shallot, onion),3. fruiting vegetables (tomato, eggplant, pepper, okra, bitter gourd, cucumber),4. leguminous vegetables (beans, beans, beans botor, peanuts),5. tubers or corn vegetables (sweet potatoes, cassava, turnips and radishes).

OBJECTIVES• Knowing how to boundary.

• Know and identify ways of providing plant material .

• Knowing how to plant corn and mustard seed properly .

• Learning how soil management and crop fertilizer .

• Knowing how to control the disease.

• Knowing how to control and weed management .

• Knowing how to manage pests and plant diseases .

Our method that we used is a use a hoe to plant, crop and also wide upper limit of the number of tree.

• MEASUREMENT OF THE AREA

LENGTH LIMIT

30 meter

WIDTH LIMIT

1.2 meter

HIGHT LIMIT

10 cm

PLANTING1.Number Of Corns• We have planted more than 20 kernels

of corn along our borders

1 .Number Of Mustard• Also more than 20 mustard

seeds that we have planted .

2 . Distance Of Planted Corns • We planted the corn seed with an inch

of distance .• Distance between the rows is 0.5

meter

2 .Distance Of Planted Mustard• We planted the mustard regardless of

distance .

3. The Pattern Of Corn Planting• Our corn crop just planted straight

3 .The Pattern Of Mustard Planting• We only do sowing

ACTIVITIES

PREPARATION OF BOUNDRY

• Among the activities are the provision of limits

we have been digging for leveling and raising

the threshold limit . After that , in order to

boundry development land .

• create a systematic drainage and irrigation .

I) CORN PLANTING

• Corn seeds sown in nursery tray for a week .• The medium used for sowing the seeds of

corn is ground and mixed cocopeat , the ratio is 3 : 1 .

WATER MANAGEMENT

- Water is critical in the early stages of early growth and flowering and seed formation corn. Showers should be made twice a day, morning and evening .- Watering can be done manually or spatter irrigation system .

DISEASE IN CORN

• LEAF• On the leaf surface of the staple maize leaf rust

disease found there .• Symptoms are found on leaf rust spots are

pathways that cause leaf facing the staple maize yellow rust disease .

• CHLOROSIS• There is a yellowish color in the leaves of maize

staple .

DISEASE CONTROL AND WEED

• Prune leaves infected with leaf rust disease .

• Using the manual method . Crops grown by

categorized as organic because we do not use

poison rumpai .

• Planting methods Sawi

A large area of land use

Mustard seeds mixed with soil and sand

Sprinkle the seeds over the Boundry

II) MUSTARD• Planting the seeds of mustard .• Mustard seeds mixed with sand and sown into the soil

before the limit is to avoid the mustard seeds decomposed or drifted with rain water .

• After planting the seeds of mustard process performed on watering plants.

• Mulching is placed above the limit that has been sprinkled with mustard seeds in order to avoid excessive light blazing into the mustard plant is .

• After 14 days of mustard seed cultivation thinning process must be done to prevent stunted growth mustard .

DISEASE IN MUSTARD

• Pest attack

• Mustard been infected due to pest attack .

• Some mustard somewhat stunted growth due to

the distance between mustard too closely and

many insects perch near the stem and leaf

vegetables.

WATER MANAGMENT

Water is critical in the early stages of early

growth and flowering and seed formation corn.

Showers should be made twice a day, morning

and evening .

- Watering can be done manually or spatter

irrigation system .

DISEASE CONTROL AND WEED

• Prune leaves infected with leaf rust disease .

• Using the manual method . Crops grown by

categorized as organic because we do not

use poison weed.

FERTILIZER AND CARE• There are two ways of fertilizing organic fertilizer and fertilizer commercially.

Organic fertilizer starting in the second week after the seedlings grow seedlings (about two to three leaves), ie every two weeks fertilizer put on around the tree, this method is used for those who prefer organically grown corn. For commercial fertilizer was started in the first week with NPK green. Be careful when using chemical fertilizers / urea in corn, not exposed to the trunk it will burn out and die. Put away the fertilizer to the trunk.

• Remove grass on the boundary, the work is obliged to allow the corn plants do not compete for food. If you can put mulch (straw, dry leaves, wood decay, cocopeat, rice straw, dried grass or pot limit for humidity and also can reduce the grass on the boundary. Be careful when weeding the corn roots do not hurt. Sprinkle corn tree two times a day and not get when it rains.

METHODS1-12 weeks

Week 1

• Briefing• The pusat islam

Week 2

• Identify the type and species of vegetables

• In addition, it can identify the type and appearance of the vegetable seeds.

• There are comparing and leaf morphology of each type of vegetable.

Week 3

• identify the function of agricultural machinery and equipment

• learn the basic operation of agricultural machinery and implements

• besides that distinguishes the use of agricultural machinery and equipment.

Week 4• in the field of water supply

there it was a big ditch.• in addition to the

adjustment of land with crops must be friable fertile land to facilitate maintenance work whether it is wet or dry.

• planting site selection must be close to the roads to ease market and bring input of fertilizers, pesticides and farm equipment.

Week 5

• learn the difference high quality planting materials

• learn appropriate methods of cultivation by type of vegetables

• learn about seed selection plants with good

Week 6

• Corn of seeding seeds• The medium used for of

seeding the seeds of corn is coco peat

• corn seeds used are Thai sweet corn.

Week 7

• The construction was carried out in the 30-meter boundary is 1.6 meters wide

• do the destruction of land lumpy to please pegerakan roots for water and nutrient store

Week 8

Weeding- Weeding around plants for avoid competition between plants- Reducing the ability of weeds to cause problems- reduce weed germination

• Equipment

hoe glove

Week 9

TransplantingTransplants are used infrequently and carefully because they carry with them a significant risk to injured the plant1)Prepare transplant location2)Use the hand fork to scoop the clump of seedling

out of the soil3)Place the plant and compact the soil4) Immediately watering the seedling

Week 10

Manuring- Assist in the fertility of crops- High yield and quality- Restore nutrients in the soil that has been absorbed by plants through

the process of physiology- Nutrient deficiency can lead to stunted growth

Fertilizing corn

Week 11

watering plants- Source of water supply- Freshness for plants

Week 12Harvesting

Masturd- masturd mature in four weeks or one month and a half- Frist time harvest can get 4kg masturd

Preparation of crop materials

FUNCTION

1.

1. Making bund and break lump of soil. 2. Groove. 3. Making drainage system.

2. 1. Shattering or break earth. 2. Dispose of rubbish remnants. 3. Loosen up the soil.
