The Greek Festival was from September 19th to the 22nd. The festival provides outsiders with Greek culture, food, dancing , and more throughout the festival days.

St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church is located on 85 Voorhees Corner Road, Flemington, NJ. The Church had its Gran Opening this summer on June 9th. The new Church provides a close place to worship for the community.

Maria Sfondouris, helps at the front to direct people the festival activities. Maria also fundraises for the Church by asking for donations.

The Greek festival provides icons that you can purchase to raise money for the church.

The new Church provides a place to worship that accommodates all the members of the Church. “In the Orthodox tradition there is a very strong feeling that the church is the ‘House of God’”, according to a religious phamlet by Thomas FitzGerald.

In the Church where people worship there is a dome that provides “a direct connection to God”, says Sfondouris which is the message of the Orthodoxy.
