WHERE IS GREECE??

Greece is bordered to the northwest by Albania, in the north to Bulgaria and FYROM and to the northeast Turkey. It borders on the east by the Aegean Sea to the west by the Ionian and south of the Mediterranean Sea.

CULTUREIt has a rich history which brought great cultural influence on three continents. This is the birthplace of democracy and philosophy. Greece is the birthplace of the Olympic Games, drama, tragedy and comedy.

ANIMALS

In Greece there are over 1,200 species of vertebrate animals and30,000 species of invertebrates.

FLOWERS

The plants in

GREECE are more

than 6,500 and

1,150 are endemic.

ACROPOLISAcropolis is one of the most important sights.

But in GREECE there are many other attractions in various cities

TOURISM

Some famous tourist places in Greece are some Ionian and Aegean islands,

including Corfu and Zakynthos as well as Mykonos, Santorini, Rhodes, Paros and Crete.
