This photo represents Siddhartha Gautama. Siddhartha Gautama was the Buddha. He was known as the “enlightened.” He witnessed things that changed his life when he was 29 years old and had escaped from his palace. They were suffering from old age, disease and death. When he was 35 he had a dramatic breakthrough in understanding, and this is why he is known for “enlightment.”

Jesus is the central figure of Christianity. Jesus is known as the “anointed one.” the followers of Jesus became known as Christians and they saw Jesus as there “Messiah.” Jesus was born of the virgin Mary and descended into heaven. Christian theology was on the identity, life, teachings and works of Jesus, is known as Christology.

This photo is a temple carving at the Hoysaleswara temple. This temple was dedicated to the lord Shiva, it was built in the 12th century. It represents the Trimurti. Including Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu. These are Hindu Gods.

The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum which is a building constructed as a monument. It is located in Agra, India. It was built in the 12th century under Mughal. It was built for Mughal Emperor shah Jahans favorire wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Judaism

The menorah is a symbol in jewish religion. It is used on Hanukkah, an eight day holiday. The menorah represents how the candle magically burned for 8 days.
