Participating organizations are outgrowing their peers almost 2:1
Toledo Community Foundation offers matching grants up to $1,000 for donations taken on #GivingTuesday.
The advantages of participating on a local level
Toledo Community Foundation will release the list of participating
organizations to donors and make it available on their website.
C4NPR will retweet and share your successes on our Twitter and Facebook pages to encourage donations.
The Blade is dedicating ad and editorial space in November and December to
promote local online giving.
Why register nationally?
Registering as a partner with #GivingTuesday.org allows you to share your story, which may appear on the #GivingTuesday.org website
Giving Tuesday raises awareness about the day and might promote what you do.

by Before December 1, 2014.

Complete the Toledo Community Foundation online 2014 #GivingTuesday online grant

Describe your #GivingTuesday activities and how you generated gifts. (i.e. Your use of technology to generate donations.)
Amount requested – Up to $1,000

Amount Raised – Report total amount your organization received on December 2, 2014
PLEDGES will NOT count toward the matching grant…
1. Upload a spreadsheet listing donations secured on December 2, 2014
2. Evidence that the gifts were received on December 2, 2014
(Such as copies of statements from Paypal, Google Wallet, your financial institution. Copies of checks receipts for cash signed by your representative.)

1) Promote a micro donation campaign to build an army of new supporters for a particular project.Tip: Use custom donation forms to capture full donor data including mobile number and email for future use.
2) Launch your year-end fundraising campaign on Giving Tuesday to kickstart donations. Tip: 30% of all donations occur in December and December 31st is the most generous day of the year.
3) Make donating convenient across mobile, social and online. Put links to donation forms in all communications.

4) Send a text message to all your supporters with call to action and link to your Giving Tuesday donation page.Did you know? Texts have 99% open rates.
5) Recognize donors who post “unselfies” after making donations to Instagram, FB and Twitter. Add #YourTag and #GivingTuesdayNWO.
6) Empower volunteers to raise peer to peer donations on social media for Giving Tuesday. Tip: Make sure volunteers have personal fundraising pages that are mobile integrated.
7) Have a plan for saying “Thank you”!
