While Activity
First of all, the teacher has to divide the class into two groups. If it is a bigger class, it can be divided into three or four groups. The idea is to have the same amount of players in each team.
While activity
• Each team will have to make a row at each side of the trash can. After having decided who is going to play first, the students will start answering the teacher’s questions about sports or identifying the sport that is in the flascards.
While activity
Examples of questions:
•What sport did Michael Jourdan play?
•Does Iván Zamorano play Tennis? If the answer is No, ask them what sport he plays.
•What sport does Roger Federer play?
•Is Nicolás Massu famous for running?
•Is Colo Colo a Rugby team?
While Activity
Example of flashcard
While Activity
• If the answer is correct, the student will win the opportunity to have a shot to the trash can.
• If the Student gets the ball in the trash can, he/she wins 2 points. If the student gets the ball out the trash can, they give 1 point to the other team.
• When all the students have answered at least one question, the team with more points is the WINNER.
While Activity
• If at the end of the questions the two teams have the same score, one student of each team will have to answer one more question and then, put the ball in the trash can to know which team is the WINNER.
