vigor. So, I searched foranother silver lining.

This time I thought ofan elderly gentlemanwho lived in a townwhere I worked as ayoung newspaper editor. He was a well know andrevered individual whohad gotten into hisnineties and had visionevery bit as good as Mr.McGoo’s. Of course hestill drove.

And like Mr. McGoo,sometimes he drove onhis side of the road.Sometimes he drove onyour side of the roadand other times he splitthe difference and drovedown the middle of the

road. He was evenknown to drive on down-town sidewalks on occa-sion.

Did the fair people ofthat that town rise up inoutrage and demand hiskeys be confiscated?Heck no, they just allkept their eyes peeledand pulled over to theside of the road and gavehim room when theysaw him coming. Hedrove until he got toofeeble to crank the car.

So I’m giving you Ker-shaw folk fair warning.I’m behind the wheeland I could be comingyour way. Give me plen-ty of room.
