��������Ernest F. Wagner (ca. 1870-1954) was an American flutist, author and teacher.He served as a performing member of the famous John Philip Sousa band from1915-17. Wagner’s reputation as a successful musician is documented in his“Foundations to Flute Playing.” This seminal method for flute instruction hasbeen used for over 80 years to teach young flutists.
������ ������Danny Schmidt is director of bands and professor of saxophone at Mars HillCollege, just outside of Asheville, N.C. He is highly regarded as a woodwindpedagogue and has performed professionally on flute, clarinet and saxophone.
