Login to Academic Profile Pro

Login entering User ID and Password.

Enter User ID.

Enter Password.

Click Login Button.

Main Menu

This is Main Menu screen of Academic Profile Pro.

You can enter information and print the documents here.

Function menus are displayed here.

Messages from Managers will be shown here.

Password Change

You can change your Password.

Click “Password Change”, then Password Change screen will be shown.

Click “Change Password”.

Your User ID is shown here.

Enter new Password.

Enter new Password again for confirmation.

Press “Update”

Edit your academic profile

Basic user interface of editing screen

Items to manage/edit are shown on your left, and the contents of the selected item will be on your

right.

Note: If your university/college has added Thesis BD Option, please refer to Instruction Manual of Thesis BD

Option for Researchers as well.

You can check how your academic profile will be seen to public.

List of the items you can manage.

By clicking an item, its current content will be shown on the right.

You can switch to before/next items.

Make sure who have access to each profile information

Each icon shows who will have access to information.

Disclosure Settings

You can customize disclosure settings of your information.

This is a general settings, and you can decide whether to disclose or not item by item.

Will be disclosed at your university/college’s web site.

The page design is of a standard package.

Screen to show the current data

By clicking each heading, the sort order will be switched between

ascending and descending.

When open to the outside, the items will be sorted by date after

Display Order.

Register, update and delete your profile records

Screen where you enter the data

You can add a new record by clicking [Add]

button, and change/delete them by [Update].

You can download the items data.

To go to the download page, please click [Upload & Download].

You can set/update the sort order at items list pages.

1. Enter a number at [Display Order].

2. Press [Update Display Order].

Upload & Download

You can download an Excel file of the items.

You can also update all the items by uploading an Excel file of specific format.

For the format specifications, please look at ”File Specifications for Uploading”.

To upload, please select the file and

press [Update].

Press [Download].

Please specify the records to

download and conditions.

Enter profile records

[Add][Update]: the entered information will be added/updated.

[Delete]: the record shown will be deleted.

[Back]: Back to the item list screen without updating.

* marked items are required.

Please select disclosure flag.

You can add font formatting to each character at the items with Font Formatting buttons

( )

2. Press one of the font formatting buttons

( ), and make sure formatting marks are

entered before/after the specified characters.

1. Specify the characters to set.

3. Press [Preview], and review the

characters with formatting.

Help Online Help pages are available for each item.

Items that you cannot add/update records

If [Add] or [Update] buttons are not active, such items can be updated only by managers of the academic profile

records.

If you would like to change, please contact your management desk.

Download and Print the records There are 2 ways to output.

The data format is same in both ways.

By clicking one of the items, you can

download/print an Excel file of the

specified item.

You will be back to the Log-in screen.

Please close the log-in window as well by clicking [x] button of the window.
