G L O B A L V I L L A G E
The Global Village is a unique internship program
for teaching conversational English, Spanish, Chinese,
German, Russian, Portuguese, Japanese or French to
DKU students. Participants will lead small groups in daily
language classes for three weeks before continuing onto
the Academic Program.
This is a great opportunity to develop friendships with
DKU students and gain insight into Korean culture from
personal experiences. Also through teaching,
you will gain valuable personal insights about yourself !

Important Notice
All GV participants must attend the Academic Program (AP).
If a student decides not to go onto the AP after completion of
the GV, the student will not receive any benefits associated
with GV participation.
Participants will be assigned randomly either at the Jukjeon or
Cheonan campus.
Orientation is mandatory for all participants.

- If the airfare is less than USD1000, the student will receive the

① Complete online application

- Letter of Recommendation (from faculty members)
- Personal Essay (500-600 words on your participation in the GV)
③ After an initial screening process of a student's application,
a online interview might be arranged
④ Acceptance results will be announced by March 9, 2018
⑤ Accepted students need to confirm and return the acceptance
offer by March 16, 2018
Qualification
Undergraduate or graduate students fluent in speaking one
or more of the listed languages.•
