FIRST CONDITIONAL

“If” clause + Present Tense + futureExample: If we go to the concert on Friday, it will be cheaper.

Used to talk about possibilities in the present or future.

You will pass the test if you study hard.

The first conditional can be used to talk about things which may happen:

If it’s sunny, we’ll go to the park.

(it’s possible that it will be sunny, but not guaranteed)

If you go to the movies without me, I’ll be mad.

I’ll be mad if you go to the movies without me.
