Cyber bullying is the use of cell phones, instant messaging, e-mail, chat rooms or social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter to harass, threaten or intimidate someone.

• Withdrawn• Fear and anxiety about attending school• Self esteem• Stress that that leads to poor health• Emotional harm that can lead to physical harm

Consequences

• Exceptions: Colorado, Hawaii, Indiana, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota.

• In the state of Michigan: 2-5 years in prison or pay a fine of $5,000 - $10,000.
