Who Is National FFA Alumni?

National FFA Alumni is an organization that supports local

FFA chapters and Ag Ed Programs while being

advocates for agriculture education.

What are the benefits for an Ag Ed Program and FFA Chapter?

• Members can free up valuable Ag Advisor time• Provides expertise and experience in the

classroom or while preparing for contest• Provides monetary support • A local affiliate provides advocacy for chapter• Having an affiliate allows chapters to be eligible

for scholarship money

• Local– Chaperone Events– Attend Local Meetings– Fundraise for

Scholarships

• State– State Convention – State Council

• National– Alumni Development Conference– National FFA Alumni Convention – National Award Recognition

Opportunities for Alumni Members

Dues Structure

• Annual Member– $10 per year plus applicable state and local dues– Annual memberships are per individual

• Collegiate Member– $5 per year plus applicable state and local dues– Only valid for current Collegiate FFA Members

• Life Member– One Time Payment of $150 plus applicable state and

local dues– Life memberships are per individual

Why Did You Join?

• Not only is it important for young people to belong to this organization, but certain scholarship dollars are unavailable to chapters that don’t have an Alumni Association. I love being in Alumni and encourage others to join! – Loralei Crum, Missouri
