Dear Mr. Lorenzen:

Congratulations on your selection to the position of Secretary, CG-318-6 in the San Francisco Regional Office of the Division of Supervision and Consumer Protection. This offer of employment is tentative pending security clearance and is for a term appointment not to exceed two (2) years.

Your starting salary for this position will be $45,752 per year. This includes a base salary of $33,718 plus the current 35.69% Locality Adjustment for FDIC employees in San Francisco. If you are currently earning more in directly related work, a higher salary may be offered upon receipt of your salary documentation. If you would like to continue the hiring process, please e-mail your acceptance of this offer to me within two business days or by March 16, 2010.

As indicated earlier, this tentative offer is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment security screening. We have received your fingerprints, and Forms OF306, FDIC 2120-16, and FDIC 1600-10. You will be given access to an online questionnaire (E-QIP) which must be completed to gain clearance. Upon receipt of your security clearance, we will extend a formal offer. We recommend that you wait to receive this post-clearance formal offer before notifying your current employer.
