KEY OBJECTIVES OF YJC

OBJECTIVES ARE TO PROVIDE PARTICIPANTS WITH:

1. ASSESSMENT AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT SERVICES, TO

INCREASE THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF JOB AND CAREER

OPTIONS, THE JOB MARKET, AND THEMSELVES;

2. OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS

3. TRAINING AND WORK EXPERIENCE TO INCREASE THEIR

READINESS FOR EMPLOYMENT;

4. SUPPORT IN THEIR TRANSITIONS TO EMPLOYMENT OR

ADDITIONAL TRAINING OR EDUCATION, DURING AND

AFTER THE PROGRAM.

YJC YOUTHTHE PROGRAM IS INTENDED TO SERVE YOUTH WHO EXPERIENCE MULTIPLE, COMPLEX BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT.

THIS INCLUDES YOUTH WHO ARE NOT IN EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT OR TRAINING.
