Outbound Call Center Services to conduct 1,550 food security surveys in Iraq on a monthly basis. The data collection methodology consists of two parts
Conducted on a monthly basis to assess the food security situation in a pre-established list of districts or cluster of districts
List of districts will be defined and update on an ad-hoc basis by WFP Iraq Country Office.
Samples will be randomly selected from operator’s subscriber database
Total Target is 1,000 completed surveys distributed to cover each selected district(s)
Countrywide monitoring at the governorate level will be conducted on a quarterly basis to asses and monitor the food security situation of households
Samples will be randomly selected from operator’s subscriber database
Total target of 1,650 completed surveys will be collected during three months (550 interviews per month)

Food Vulnerability Assessment Survey for WFP
To support UN client in gathering the information about Food/nutritional requirements from each governorate of Iraq to drive their strategy

Using phone numbers gathered during the December 2014 PDM and the pre-baseline survey, Korek shall conduct outbound calling surveys for UN through an in-house survey for monitoring the food security situation among population in Iraq
Target sample is divided into IDP and Non IDP sample based on customer responses and the data provided by UN team
The Target subscribers are called every month to record their post feedback as well
Korek has a dedicated team of highly trained 7 market research agents in call center who are conducting this activity.

WFP mVAM Survey Process
Questionnaire: Survey Questionnaire is provided by UN for this project. The questionnaire is translated into Arabic and Kurdish as well because majority of the
respondents are Arabic and Kurdish speaking. An approved Call script for UN questionnaire is provided by UN team on ground. Korek Market research agents use the provided questionnaire and call script for the
survey activity.
Questionnaire Database The database provided by UN team is used by Korek to record responses from the
survey. This user interface and database file is provided by UN team.
Training: UN team conducts a training session of Korek market research team to discuss Call
script, Questionnaire content/translations, Survey Database, User Interface, Sample distribution and UN terminologies in detail.
The objective of the training session is to have the Korek team queries addressed before start of the survey.
At the end of training session Korek Telemarketing team conducts few test surveys to ensure end to end smooth execution of the questionnaire as per UN requirements.
UN team reviews and approves the test survey results to proceed.

Survey MethodologyTarget List: A random sample of 1,550 Korek subscribers is targeted every month as per the given regional distribution
Outbound Calls Execution and Response Collection: Korek market research agents make outbound calls to the target subscribers and ask questions from the
approved UN questionnaire The subscriber feedback and responses are collected in the survey database. The response entries that do not clear the data quality checks are discarded
Call and Data Quality Checks: The calls made by the agents are closely monitored for quality assurance purposes In case of an incomplete or invalid survey result the complete entry is discarded and re run Call recordings of all calls shall be available for quality review on request
Survey Database Delivery: Survey responses that clear all quality checks are saved into survey database provided by UN Complete survey database with results is delivered to UN team at the end of every month survey
Incentive Posting for Respondents: An incentive of 1200 IQD balance is posted by Korek to subscribers who participated in the survey. The bonus is posted to only those subscribers who successfully completed the survey Bonus qualifiers are able to use this balance to make both Voice and SMS onnet calls. Korek also sends an acknowledgment SMS to the qualified subscribers, informing him about the successful
