1. Medium Voltage Series Reactor
The product is connected in series with shunt capacitors, and has the functions of
compensating reactive power of power grid, increasing power factor, restraining
harmonic current and limiting switching inrush current. It is suitable for high fire
protection requirements such as power system, electrified railway, metallurgy and
petrochemical industry, electromagnetic interference requirements and installation
space limited urban power substation, underground substation. Stations and
substations controlled by computers.
Series reactor is also called damper reactor. Its function is to connect capacitors in
series, limit the closing inrush current in the circuit input, and effectively suppress
harmonic current according to different reactance rates. The series reactor developed
by our company has the following characteristics:
● The iron core reactor with air gap has good magnetic flux effect. The cold rolled silicon steel sheet has high permeability and stable reactance value;
● The use of new epoxy resin material, heat-resistant insulation up to F grade, is the ideal product for users to use safely and safely;
● Adopting advanced pouring technology, the product not only has beautiful appearance and harmonious color, but also has excellent mechanical properties, durable and impact resistance.

● Outgoing mode: coil outgoing on the same side, coil outgoing on both sides, Out of coil insulator supports out wire.
● Linearity: under1.8Incondition, L≥0.95Ln, at1.2In, I=(I3+I5+I7……) lower than 35% rated current, Maintaining this linearity and can long-term stable operation;
● In normal operation, the core temperature rise of dry core reactor is not more than 85.000, and the coil temperature rise is not more than 95.000;
● The noise of rolled grain oriented silicon sheet meets the requirements of JB/T 5346-2014 IEC 60076-6:2011 series reactor standard.
● The insulation level parameters such as power frequency withstand voltage meet the requirements of relevant national standards, and can also be manufactured according to customer requirements.

1. Selection of Reactance Rate of Series Reactor
The selection principle of reactance rate is to make the corresponding total reactance
value of the harmonic component with the highest proportion in the network
close to zero, that is to say, the reactance and capacitance reactance of the second
harmonic component should be close to equal, but it should be noted that Xc and
XL can not be exactly equal, in order to prevent electromagnetic resonance and lead
to over-voltage; Sensitive resistance is slightly greater than tolerant resistance.
If the system is dominated by 5th harmonic, then XL > Xc/52 = 0.04Xc. If the system
is dominated by 3rd harmonic, then XL > Xc/32 = 0.11Xc. Usually, 4.5%, 5% and 6%
of them pay attention to suppressing 5 or more harmonics, while 12% and 13%
mainly suppress 3 or more harmonics.
2. Selection of Rated Voltage of Distribution Capacitor for Reactor with Specific
Reactance Rate
After compensating capacitor is connected in series with reactor, the voltage of
capacitor will rise somewhat, Uc=Un/(1-P) ;
Among: Un: system voltage ;
Uc: Capacitor Voltage ;
P: Reactance ratio ;
For example: 10 kV voltage system, compensating reactor series reactance is 6%
reactor, Uc=10(kV)/(1-0.06)=10.64kV
Usually, the voltage Uc of the capacitor distributed by reactor with 0.85% and 1%
reactance is 1.05 Un, 4.5%, 5% and 6% reactance is 1.1Un, and that of reactor with
12% and 13% reactance is 1.2Un; for example, the voltage Uc of reactor distributed by
reactor with 10 kV reactance is 6%, Uc=1.1Un=10 3×1.1=11 3 kV ;

After knowing the system voltage and reactance rate, reactor capacity SL=Sc×P

2. Medium Voltage Starting Reactor
Start-up reactor is a kind of current-limiting reactor specially used for step-down
starting of large-scale asynchronous motor, which is connected in series with
three-phase windings of three-phase asynchronous motor, i.e., each phase winding
of reactor and motor winding are connected in series to form Y or D connection.
When the motor starts, the reactor is switched on and off to limit the starting
current of the motor to the appropriate value. When the impedance is small and
the current is large, the starting current is about 5 times the rated current, and the
voltage mainly falls on the reactor. After the start-up, the reactor is removed and
the power supply voltage of the motor restores to the normal rated voltage.
The design of starting reactor suitable for 3kV, 6kV and 10kV can be operated
continuously for 2 minutes and restarted after 6 hours interval. If the starting
requirement exceeds this condition, it should be explained when ordering.
The iron core starter reactor designed and manufactured by our company has the
following characteristics:
● Flame retardant, fire-proof, explosion-proof, high safety in use;
● The coil is poured by epoxy vacuum, and the winding forms a rigid whole of sealing and moisture-proof. The air is self-cooled. It can be started directly at the initial installation and operates for a long time without maintenance.
● Long service life, can meet the 30 years of thermal aging life cycle.
● The product has good thermal stability and strong overload capacity.
● Compared with the traditional oil-immersed reactor and air-core reactor, the dry-core starter reactor has the advantages of light weight, small space occupation, simple structure and convenient installation.
● The insulation temperature level reaches F grade (155 °C). Under normal operation, the core temperature rise of the dry core startup reactor is not more than 85K, and the coil temperature rise is not more than 95K.
● The loss of dry core starter reactor is lower than that of oil-immersed reactor.
● Altitude not exceeding1000m (Over 1000m altitude, must be mentioned when ordering );
● Operating ambient temperature: 25°C~+45°C;
● Installation in the house, without any violent vibration, harmful gas or dust. Cannot installation of nearby inflammable and explosive articles;
● When the start-up time is 2 minutes (once or several times accumulated), it should be cooled for 6 hours before starting again.

1. Determination of Start-up VoltageStart-up reactor phase voltage is determined by the formula below:
among:UxN: Rated line voltage of three-phase AC motor (V);
Kxj: When starting, the minimum required torque of the motor is a multiple of the rated torque, When the motor power is 0.6-100 kW, Kxj=0.8, Other general chooseKxj=0.6;
Kqj: Initial starting torque of AC motor is multiple of rated torque under rated voltage, Kqj=0.9~2.5, Details of the determined values are shown in the selected motor sample parameters.
2. Determination of Start CurrentStart-up reactor current is determined by the formula below:
Amount: IN:Rated current of AC motor(A);KqL: Under rated voltage, the starting current of AC motor is multiple of rated current.
3. Start-up reactor reactance per phase(XL'): XL=UL/IL(Ω)
4. Determination of Start-up Capacity: SL=3×UL×IL (kVA)
5. Start-up reactor has a tap besides rated reactance value (XL). The reactance value (XLi) at the tap is generally 0.85 times that of rated reactance value (XL), that is, XLi=0.85×XL. The tap reactance value can also be manufactured according to customer's requirements.

3. Medium Voltage Shunt Reactor
Parallel reactor refers to the reactor connected in parallel with line load, which is used
in power system. Its main function is to restrain the line terminal voltage rise caused
by line capacitive reactive power when transmission line is under light load. At the
same time, the input of parallel reactor can reduce the secondary current when system
grounding fault occurs, which is beneficial to eliminating generators. Self-excitation
and other functions.
The shunt reactor can operate safely for a long time at the highest voltage of the
system. For the iron core shunt reactor, the accuracy of reactance value is required
to be high, and the inductance reduction of the shunt reactor at the rated voltage of
150% system is not more than 5%.

4. Low-voltage Series Reactor
With the development of modern power industry, power electronic equipments
are widely used. Power electronic equipments are non-linear loads. The harmonic
currents generated by power electronic equipments are harmful to the power grid.
They will cause serious interference to measuring, driving and calculating equipments.
The harmonic and voltage distortion will also cause power supply accidents. The
resonant frequency of low voltage series reactor with shunt capacitor is capacitive at
power frequency to change the power factor of power frequency, while the resonant
frequency is inductive, so as to prevent parallel resonance and suppress harmonics.

5. Inlet and Outlet Reactors for Low Voltage Inverters
With the rapid development of power electronics technology, AC variable frequency speed regulation has become the mainstream of electric drive since 1990s, and its application scope is increasingly widespread. But because the frequency converter is used in various electrical environments, if appropriate protection measures are not taken, the stability and reliability of the frequency converter will be affected. Practice has proved that proper selection of distribution reactor and frequency converter can effectively prevent the impact of overvoltage and surge current caused by the operation of AC incoming switch, reduce the harmonic pollution of power grid caused by frequency converter, and improve the power factor of frequency converter.

● Output reactor: Connected between the output end of the converter and the load (motor), it can suppress the noise of the converter and filter the high-frequency harmonics into the motor, reduce the leakage current caused by the input high-order harmonics, smooth filter, reduce the transient voltage dv/dt, prolong the service life of the motor, reduce the noise of the motor and reduce the eddy current loss. Protect the power switching elements inside the frequency converter.
