If you are interested, please send an application and résumé to Elder Goh Keng Ngian at gohright@live.com.

UPDATE: PAUL AND MICHELLE TEOH On 28 February 2017, Paul and Michelle completed their 4-year term as HPC-supported missionaries with OC Singapore and will make the transition to become full-time tent-makers with the Blue Mountain Kelong in Batam, Indonesia. We thank them for their dedicated service to the Lord over the years, and let us continue to uphold them in prayer and fellowship as they prepare for their new ministry. EPHESIANS AND OTHER SCRIPTURE PASSAGES The soft copy of the Pulpit Study Questions (5 Feb - 25 Jun 2017) is posted on the church website. Hard copies are available at the WIC. HAVE YOU MOVED, CHANGED YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS OR MOBILE NUMBER? If so, kindly inform the church office to update the changes. Thank you. HOUSEKEEPING Please do not leave the Sanctuary without your belongings — bulletins, inserts, magazines, tissue papers, etc, and your personal items. Let’s help keep the Lord’s House clean and tidy. ANNOUNCEMENTS

PRAYER CORNER “I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ears to me and hear my prayer.” Ps 17:6

In this season of Lent, let us come before God in reflection and contemplation of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Pray for our deepening relationship with God.

Pray for spiritual growth of our Church’s CGs. Pray for greater bonding among the CGs as they come together to be enriched by God’s word and be filled with God’s love.

Pray for our Building committee as they meet w ith several Presbyterian Churches to discuss the relocation of our worship service and ministries. Pray for God’s guidance for the committee in making major decisions in this concern.

MARCH ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION (ACE): ROMANS - A NEW PERSPECTIVE The standard Christian understanding of what Paul is saying in his Letter to the Romans is that all mankind have sinned, and salvation is for all who believe. It is by faith that we are saved, and not by fulfilling the works of the law. This has been the epicentre of Paul's theology, and the Letter to the Romans is said to have changed the course of human history. Augustine was deeply influenced by it. So was Martin Luther, who initiated the Protestant Reformation movement of the 16th century after reading it. Today, it continues to be read and studied by millions of Christians who are profoundly transformed by its message.

However, in recent times, some people have argued that the church has misinterpreted this letter for the last 2,000 years. How and where have we gone wrong? Come explore Romans with Rev (Dr) Leonard Wee:

Dates/Time: 19 and 26 March (Sun), 9:30am Venue: Tong Siu Hall
