On Sept. 15, 2013, Honolulu, HI had the opportunity to participate in a nationwide performance that commemorated the 50 year anniversery of the 16th Street Baptist Church Bombing in Birmingham, Alabama that killed four little girls back in 1963. This tragic event was the catalysis for the Civil Rights Movement. This year, Project1Voice brought the nation together again in memory of this heartbreaking event in hopes to spark inspiration and to empower America to come together and work towards a real change in our country. ***Please Note the following CORRECTIONS *** Bio for NIKKI GUESS speaks of a week long dance event in 2013 that she organized. That event is NOT Dance Week Hawaii which belongs to another group. Her dance organization is called HAWAII DANCE FESTIVAL and will celebrate for a full month in May in 2014. The mistake was made by EH writers.
