Editors’ Note: Film and Theater Review and Commentary

The new associate editor for fi lm and drama is Bruce H. Sklarew MD. He is the Chair of the Forum for Movies and Mind and co-founder and former associate editor of Projections: The Journal for Movies and Mind which recently won an award for the best new journal in the humanities and social studies. He is the co-editor of Bertolucci’s the Last Emperor: Multiple Takes; Analysts in the Trenches: Streets, Schools, War Zones; The Journey of Child Development: Selected Papers by Joseph D. Noshpitz. He arranges the fi lm program for meetings of the American Psychoanalytic Association.

We welcome manuscripts on fi lm and drama up to 12 pages for this section. Interpretations of fi lm or plays as well as relating psychoanalytic theory to fi lm or drama craft are welcome. Longer contributions will go through the usual peer review process.
