Connecting People, Purpose and Projects

Committed to changing the way leaders and teams think about managing and leading complex projects in the development of optimized, integrated solutions for the built environment.

• Research and educational emphasis focused externally – to influence current industry practice, and the education of the next generation of AEC and RE professionals.

• Focus on industry connectivity to uncover the real issues to drive performance based solution finding and applied research that makes a difference.

• Focusing on outreach to impact transformational practice. Drawing on integrative thinkers, change agents, transformational projects, and practices, and facilitating high intentional engagement.

• Teaching industry practitioners how to think differently, embrace complexity, tolerate uncertainty, and manage tension in searching for creative solutions to problems.

• Training and preparing the next generation of built environment integrated project managers and leaders.

• Development of a “Learn-by-Doing” training center to develop Integrated Project Leaders (IPLs) and create a residency based (embedded), professional sabbatical experience for working AEC and RE professionals.

• A professional collaboration space created to attract and engage diverse working professionals associated with the built environment. This team environment draws solution finders intent on developing integrated, optimized solutions.

• Part think tank, innovation space and learning laboratory for professionals.
