Server Move

New Design

Implementing a new design template is contingent on what server the page will reside on.

The DOGS website currently resides on the Rootswebserver which does not allow for customizable design pages that use any kinds of scripts.

Move to new NCGenWeb Server

piggyback on the Durham County USGenWebpage Washington County Genealogy Society’s “page”

(http://ncgenweb.us/washington/wcgs.htm ) is currently housed on the NCGenWeb site (piggy-backed off of the Washington County page)

obtain own space on NCGenWeb server

Requires a web address change

Model the new design of the North Carolina Genealogical Society webpage and/or the Durham County NCGenWeb page

Easy to modify (if on own server)
