Re: [In response to 802.15 WNG call for presentations.]
Abstract: [In the future, most of users want to maintain their environment mobility within a moving personal space. So, Personal Environment Service(PES) based on WPAN technology would be leading & killer application of Ubiquitous services in the future. We can figure out PES WPAN protocol by upgrading the ISO/IEC 29157 standard.]

Requirements of PES ; Motivation
• New mobile comm. service for the market– WPAN should be related with mobile comm. business.– Every services should be converged on the mobile phone.
• Ubiquitous service is too broad and conceptual.– Aggregated & complemented with synergy effect
• For Personal Environment Service– It could be leading & killer application of Ubiquitous services.– Step-by-step approach to mature Ubiquitous services.

Conclusions
How to generate IEEE802.15.PES standard ? Generate PES requirements through IEEE.802.15.PES working group. Upgrade existing ISO/IEC 29157 to meet PES requirements. Whoever has experience to develop WPAN chip can make PicoCast PES chip. PicoCast Forum can supply ISO/IEC 29157 modem IP source & application S/W.
Why WPAN is so important for future market ? Ubiquitous world needs few thousand time mobile channel capacity. But, reducing cell size would be the only solution to meet this requirement. White space devise requirements would be satisfied with PES protocol. In the future, the cell size of 5G will become femto-cell because of capacity Even 5G mobile communication can be implemented by personal mobile space.
Why ISO/IEC29157(PicoCast) is suitable for PES service ? Container concept support both low power sensor and high speed multimedia. Abundant channel capacity because of avoidance of mutual interference. Provides broadcast, multicast & communication convergence protocol. Local broadcasting gives an additional business model such as advertisement.
