ABOUT THE PROGRAM

We have an open door admissions policy to

ensure that every person has the opportunity

to get a college education.

The Digital Video & Cinema Production program

prepares students for careers in the growing

film & video industry. Students in the program

use the same state-of-the-art equipment and

software currently in use in the industry. The

training and class assignments have students

shooting, editing, and producing their video

and cinema projects within their first semester.

TYPES OF AWARDS OFFERED

The following titles are examples of careers

associated with this program but not limited to:

Production Manager, Producer, Director, Editor,

Sound Editor, Compositor, Cinema Photographer,

Camera Operator, and Screenwriter

Occupational profiles indicate a 14-25% growth

for Film/Video Editors and Producers/Directors

by the year 2022 in the Alamo Region. Estimated

average hourly wage ranges from $19.25-22.87*

in the Alamo Region.
