Programmes Organized
Bridge Course:
The students entering in the engineering course are unable
to cope- up with the pace of teaching and new environment. They
face problems like understanding the technical concepts and sudden
transition from vernacular medium to English language. So, in the
beginning of academic year, DGCT conducted two-week Bridge
Course from 08-06-2016 to 21-06-2016. The objective is to provide
a good platform for the students to bridge the gap between school
and college learning. It is „learning by doing course‟ for all the basic
subjects, where students are divided into teams for activities. This
bridge course proves to be the best opportunity for the students to
adapt themselves to new social and academic environment equipped
with the knowledge and confidence. Students have participated in all
the activities very enthusiastically.

society. To identify the great works done by our hard working
engineers each year 15th
September is celebrated as Engineers' Day
marking the birth day of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvarayya,
recognizing his contributions in the field of hydel energy in India. In
our college we celebrated the Engineer‟s Day on 12/09/16 to
encourage innovations from our engineering students. DGCT
organized 4rd
Open House Exhibition “Science and Technology” to
commemorate the occasion of Engineers‟ day on 15th September
2016. This event provided a platform for the students to exhibit their
innovative ideas through projects, models, and poster presentations.
