Occurence:

• On 26. April 2008, Intercity Express Train (ICE) 885 collided with sheep after the entrance to the Landrückentunnel.

• The sheep were at the north portal of the tunnel.

• By the collision the ICE with the first bogie was derailed

• The train driver operates the quick-acting brake

• The train stopped after 1200 m.

• The collision occurred at 220 km/h.
